Tonino's Pizzeria
Tonino’s Pizzeria is the kind of place you stumble into once-and keep coming back to every time you're in Market Deeping. Tucked along Church Street at 59-61, this Italian eatery isn’t just another pizza joint-it’s a cozy, wine-swirling, gnocchi-laden gem where rustic charm meets modern flavour.
From the moment you step inside-or even opt for their no-contact delivery-the experience is grounded in Italian hospitality. Whether you're dining solo or grabbing a table for two, the restaurant offers a relaxed, informal setting that feels like your favorite corner in Rome. And yes, they’ve thought of everyone-wheelchair-accessible parking, entrance, and seating make it an inclusive choice for all diners.
What really sets Tonino’s Pizzeria apart? For starters, their hand-rolled gnocchi. These soft potato pillows are the kind of comfort food that makes you pause mid-bite to appreciate the moment. Craving something creamy? The Carbonara Pasta brings richness and depth, with perfectly al dente noodles and just the right amount of sauce.
For those looking to switch things up, their Salmon Risotto balances boldness and subtlety-a dish that’s delicate without being boring. And if you're into oven-baked indulgence, the Calzone is a folded masterpiece stuffed with flavor. Every plate feels personal here, like a family recipe passed down through generations.
Looking for starters? You’ll find a refreshing Caprese Salad made with tomatoes that actually taste like tomatoes, and a drizzle of balsamic that ties everything together. Or go full-on Italian with the Antipasto Platter-a colorful spread of cured meats, cheeses, roasted vegetables, and marinated peppers that practically begs to be shared.
Drink-wise, this spot doesn’t play around. From Peroni Nastro Azzurro to an impressive wine list and classic cocktails, there’s something for every kind of sip-lover. Prefer a slow evening with a glass of Chianti and a plate of Tortellini? Or maybe just a casual beer and a couple of small plates? Tonino’s gets it.
They also cater to diverse preferences, offering vegan options, vegetarian choices, and even healthy plates if you're in a lighter mood. And don’t skip out on dessert-people rave about their tiramisu and house-made sweets that pair wonderfully with their great coffee selection.
The vibe here is just the right mix of casual and classic. It’s ideal for dinner dates, solo pizza cravings, or even a quiet evening with a good book and a cappuccino. While many restaurants in Peterborough try to nail the Italian experience, Tonino’s Pizzeria simply lives it-authentic, warm, and delicious in every bite.
From tangy roasted peppers to smooth espresso finishes, everything feels intentional. It's not just the food-it’s the full experience that brings people back again and again. Whether you're in for a dine-in or grabbing takeaway on the go, Tonino’s delivers the kind of quality that earns it a solid spot on any local foodie's radar.

Been a handful of times now for multiple occasions and never had a bad meal. Staff are always engaging and friendly, provide great recommendations and small talk when ordering and paying. The food itself always arrives in good time, super tasty and without a fault.Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu! Especially for a picky eater.
We always have a great meal here. The atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly! We recently were served by Sophie who was absolutely brilliant. She made such an effort with our year old son and even made arrangements to let him watch his pizza being cooked! She’s a credit to the team at Toninos and we hope to see her again soon when we come back! x
Tried this place on Friday night, and I was so impressed with the food. Not only the taste but the portion sizes were great too! The anti pasta board for one had a nice selection of meats and cheese and the garlic bread was soft and tasty aswell. My main was Gnocci in a white wine creamy sauce and I really enjoyed it. It was so flavoursome and delicious! I definitely would recommend and will be going back.
